The other half of the job

The shoot takes an afternoon. The admin takes the week.

Inquiries wait while you’re behind the camera. Retainers get chased by text. Policies hide in a PDF. Every new location means more sunset math. Fovea turns all of it into one booking that keeps moving, and keeps you in charge of every send.

  1. Without Fovea: Inquiries sit in your DMs until you’re back from a shoot.

With Fovea: Clients book a package and a time from your booking page, at any hour.

  2. Without Fovea: You text the retainer amount and hope it gets paid.

With Fovea: Deposits are collected by card as part of booking, not chased by text.

  3. Without Fovea: “Is that refundable?” turns into an awkward thread.

With Fovea: Cancellation and refund terms are shown before they book, and they agree to them. Coming soon

  4. Without Fovea: You check a sunset app for every location and date.

With Fovea: Golden hour is worked out for the shoot location, and the best slots are marked. Coming soon

  5. Without Fovea: The gallery lives in another tool, behind another login.

With Fovea: Galleries are delivered from the same place you booked, with a cover you choose and frame.

  6. Without Fovea: Follow-ups and invoices eat your evenings.

With Fovea: Ask Fovea drafts them. You review, edit and approve.

How it works

One booking, in focus from first hello to final gallery.

Follow a single booking through Fovea. Every tool shows up at the moment you need it, and nothing reaches your client until you say so.

01Book

Clients book the package, the place and the light.

Share one booking link. Clients choose a package, tell you where the shoot is, then pick a time. Fovea works out golden hour for that location and date, and marks the slots that catch it.

Don’t know the location yet? Then there’s no tag. Fovea never guesses at the light.

02Agree

Every package brings its own terms.

A mini session and a wedding shouldn’t share a contract. In Fovea, each package carries its own agreement, payment schedule, and cancellation and refund policy.

Clients see all of it before they book, agree to it, and sign the contract by e-signature.

  • Cancel 180 or more days before: nothing further is due.

  • Cancel within 90 days: the full balance is due.

Clients see the schedule and policies before they book, and agree to them in the same step.

Payments and payouts, without leaving Fovea.

Card payments are processed securely by Stripe.

04Deliver

A gallery that opens on the right frame.

Deliver the gallery from the same place you booked. Make any photo the cover, then drag the focus point onto what matters, like a face.

Fovea previews the crop for gallery cards, square tiles and phone screens before your clients see it.

  • Make any photo the cover, and reposition it anytime
  • Proofing and downloads for your clients
  • Photos stay private, delivered through short-lived, signed links

05Follow up

Ask Fovea prepares the work. You approve it.

Ask what needs your attention, and Fovea answers from your studio’s records, with links to the ones it used. Ask it to prepare an invoice or a follow-up, and the draft lands in your review queue.

It never sends, signs or charges anything on its own. You stay the one who presses send.

  • Answers come from your own bookings, invoices and calendar
  • Drafts invoices and follow-up messages on request
  • Nothing reaches a client until you approve it

Why Fovea

Built around the booking, not bolted on.

Most photographers run on a patchwork: a CRM, a gallery host, a scheduler, a payment app and a sunset app. Some all-in-one tools combine a few of these. Fovea is designed around the booking itself, so every part knows the package, the date and the place.

  • Your terms

The usual patchwork: A contract PDF, with deposits set up by hand

Fovea: Contract, payment stages and policies saved on each package Coming soon

  • Payment schedule

The usual patchwork: Built invoice by invoice

Fovea: Worked out from the shoot date the moment a client books Coming soon

  • Golden hour

The usual patchwork: Looked up in a separate sunset app

Fovea: Calculated for each booking’s location and date Coming soon

  • Galleries

The usual patchwork: Often a separate tool with its own login

Fovea: Delivered from the same place you booked, with a cover you frame

  • Follow-ups

The usual patchwork: Written from scratch, one at a time

Fovea: Drafted by Ask Fovea, sent only when you approve

  • Your clients

The usual patchwork: Emails, links and attachments

Fovea: One portal, and a client app, for booking, paying, proofing and downloads Coming soon

  • Payouts

The usual patchwork: Managed in a separate payments dashboard

Fovea: Set up and tracked inside Fovea Coming soon

  • Logins

The usual patchwork: One for each tool

    Fovea: One

“The usual patchwork” describes a common mix of separate tools. Your setup may differ, and some products combine several of these. Items marked coming soon aren’t available yet.

Switching

Switch on your next booking, not your busiest weekend.

You don’t have to move everything at once. Let your current tools finish the jobs already in progress, and start new bookings on Fovea.

  1. Start on the Free plan

No subscription. Run up to 2 shoots a month on Fovea while you get comfortable.

  2. Set up your packages

Add each package with its price, length and terms, then share your booking link.

  3. Move the rest as jobs wrap

Deliver new galleries from Fovea, and retire the old logins once the last job closes.

Wherever you’re coming from

  • Coming from a CRM

    Your CRM and contract tool

You already think in packages, contracts and payment plans. Fovea keeps that structure, saves it on the package itself, and delivers the gallery from the same place.

  • Coming from a gallery host

    Your gallery and proofing tool

Keep delivering beautiful galleries, now with the booking, the contract and the payments in the same place, so delivery sits right next to the balance it depends on.

  • Coming from DMs and docs

Messages, a contract doc and a payment app

If your studio runs on messages and a payment app, the Free plan gives your next two shoots a month a booking page, a signed contract, card payments and a gallery.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

The short version: Fovea is in early access, pricing is a proposal, and nothing reaches your clients without you.

Still wondering about something? support@fovea.pro

Is Fovea ready to use today?

Fovea is in early access. The core studio is built: booking pages and packages, contracts with e-signature, client payments, galleries with proofing, the client portal and Ask Fovea. A few features are still on the way: golden-hour slot tags, payment schedules and policies saved on each package, payout setup inside Fovea and the iPhone and Android apps. Each one is marked “Coming soon” on this site until it ships.

How much does Fovea cost?

There’s a Free plan with no subscription, plus three paid plans for busier studios. Every plan has a per-payment fee when a client pays you, and it’s never 0%: it covers card processing and getting the money to your bank. The prices on this site are proposals and aren’t final.

See proposed pricing

What counts as a shoot or an active gallery on the Free plan?

A shoot is a client session booked through Fovea. An active gallery is a client gallery that hasn’t been archived or expired, so archiving a finished gallery frees up a slot. We’ll publish the exact counting rules with final pricing.

Do my clients pay a fee?

No. Clients pay the price you set. Fovea’s fee comes out of each payment before it reaches you, and you can see the fee and what you’ll receive while you set your prices.

How do payouts work?

Client card payments are processed by Stripe and paid out to your bank account. We’re moving payout setup entirely inside Fovea, so you’ll add your bank account, verify your identity and track every payout without leaving the app.

Can I use my own contract?

Yes. Use your own agreement and Fovea sends it for e-signature as part of the booking. We recommend having your contract reviewed by an attorney. Saving a contract on each package, so the right one goes out with every booking, is coming soon.

Does Ask Fovea send anything without me?

No. Ask Fovea answers questions from your own bookings, invoices and calendar, and it can prepare an invoice or a follow-up message. Drafts wait in your review queue. It can’t approve, send, sign or charge anything on its own. Ask Fovea is included on paid plans.

Is there an app?

There are two. Fovea Pro Studio is for you: inquiries, calendar, clients, galleries and messages. Fovea Pro is for your clients: booking, payments, messages, proofing and downloads. Both are coming to iPhone and Android.

How do I switch from my current tools?

Start new bookings on Fovea and let your current tools finish the jobs already in progress. A simple order works well: set up your packages, share your booking link, then deliver new galleries in Fovea as those shoots wrap. Email support@fovea.pro and we’ll help you plan the move.

How is my clients’ data protected?

Photos are kept in private storage and delivered through short-lived, signed links. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by Fovea. Each studio can only see its own records.
